NEW MOON & FULL MOON
New Moon and Full Moon where two forms of the same performance exploring site specificity and time as a part of the feministic horror house exhibition Fears or Fierce? taking over Oksasenkatu 11 in August 2020.
Both performances used the exhibition space and installations as a set. The interiors and the space influenced heavily to the choreography of the performances and the performances left their mark changing and evolving the exhibition further.
The performances explored the different tropes and roles of the female protagonist and the monstrous feminine in the cultural story telling and social narratives. Performances consisted on live music, dance, text and grotesque performance.
The first "episode" New Moon was an opening performance and took place in an dungeon like gallery space in the basement of the gallery.
The second and evolved version of the same theme Full Moon was the evolved grand finale of the exhibition ending the exhibition by destroying some of the art pieces in the space on a finissage event. Full Moon was performed in the street level of the gallery space and could only be viewed through the big gallery window outside.

PENANCE
16th of May 2017, Espoo Museum of Modern Art- EMMA, Espoo
Penance was a three hour site specific fashion performance and installation which was a part of PreHelsinki fashion festival in May 2017, EMMA Espoo Museum of Modern Art
I directed a performance in devising with the other two performers for Hanne Jurmu's collection and concept based on the aesthetics of the film Colour of the Pomegranates by Sergei Parajanov.
Choregraphy was created for the particular space in the EMMA museum and was located in the corner with Joseph Beyus's photographs and kinetic sand.
Performance was created around repetitive actions repeated in slow motion movement and actions representing penance in religious rituals.

VALTIOMAINEN HANKE
19.-20.6.2017, Theatre Academy, Helsinki
Was a performance happening about emotion, boundaries, borders and identity. Happening and it's different actions where taken place in an immersive utopian set of fairytale like garden built in the theatre studio. Audience was invited to find their place in the set and to take apart and enjoy various fragments of the multi sensory experience.
A Statelike Project combined a playful Fluxus ideology with elements of spectacle into a seemingly pleasant but ravishingly political statement about bodily autonomy, global responsibility and critique of the neo nationalistic values using playful metaphors and a twist of a classic fairytale tradition as a baseline for dramaturgy.
The performance was created by devising method.
